I loved how the story examined what happens when a famous, good-looking man dates a non-famous woman. (Now, I don't know for sure how accurate the book was but I did notice that the author did include her research books at the end so it seemed relatively authentic.) I feel like I got a good sense of how things at Saturday Night Live actually work. But it also ticked a couple of other boxes for me. Plus, when I heard that it was a love story ( I've been craving a good one lately) and was hearing good things about this one from folks that don't normally enjoy love stories so much, I wanted to get my hands on it.Īnd it was wonderful and definitely filled my love story void. I've been tackling a lot of heavier stories lately and this was a nice, welcome change.

This is the last book that I binged and it was a feel-good read for me.
